I just bought a copy of Adobe AIR Bible.
I'm liking the look of the AIR environment, enough for me to experiment with it, and this from a veteran IBM mainframe assembler guy (read dinosaur!).

Just one thing though. If AIR = Adobe Integrated Runtime then doesn't Adobe AIR = Adobe Adobe Integrated Runtime?

I don't think any of these are free. However, you can download "Adobe Integrated Runtime for JavaScript Developers" from http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/AIR:Books:Adobe_Integrated_Runtime_for_JavaScript_Developers
