Adobe AIR books now in stores!

I was in Barnes and Noble tonight and found the book, “Beginning AIR: Building Applications for the Adobe Integrated Runtime” by Rich Tretola. I’ve spent the past 2 hours reading it – it’s a fantastic book for learning how to build AIR applications. You will find the table of contents and excerpts here

More books on AIR are coming soon!:

If you know of any others, leave me a comment.

    Is it free books ?

  2. I don’t think any of these are free. However, you can download “Adobe Integrated Runtime for JavaScript Developers” from http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/AIR:Books:Adobe_Integrated_Runtime_for_JavaScript_Developers

I just bought a copy of Adobe AIR Bible.
I’m liking the look of the AIR environment, enough for me to experiment with it, and this from a veteran IBM mainframe assembler guy (read dinosaur!).

Just one thing though. If AIR = Adobe Integrated Runtime then doesn’t Adobe AIR = Adobe Adobe Integrated Runtime?
