Garmin 396/496

Ok, this falls under the cool toys category. A few months ago, I purchased a Garmin 396 GPS to use while flying. In addition to the usual things you would expect from a GPS, it also offers near real-time weather that is broadcast from the XM Radio satellites. After flying with this a few times in weather, I’d never fly without.
